The Templar Digital Research Library exists for increasing understanding in the realm of Templar study. The materials are made available on this site are not expressly endorsed simply because they hosted here. Here are a few points to keep in mind:
Some of the books and research papers may contain ideas or theories held only by the authoring scholar. Use your discretion.
Some of the material may contain masonic content that is relevant or useful for Templar study, but the Ordre Souverain et Militaire du Temple de Jérusalem (OSMTJ) itself is a non-masonic Templar Order.
This Digital Library endeavors to avoid works that bend toward conspiracy, the occult, gnosticism, or the like. While some materials may discuss relevant issues within these topics, the Ordre Souverain et Militaire du Temple de Jérusalem (OSMTJ) itself is a ecumenical Christian Templar Order that does not practice any of the above.
French and Spanish are also Official languages of the OSMTJ, and as such, some documents may be in other languages besides English. There is an ongoing translation effort to bring some of the most impactful documents into English. If you have the time and ability to volunteer to his endeavor, please contact the Templar Digital Research Library to offer your services.
It is our hope that in making these documents easily accessible, proper understanding of both the historical Knights Templar and their modern counterparts will flourish.
